Attribution & data sources
Prices: real-time Grand Exchange prices and volumes from the OSRS Wiki real-time prices API, maintained by the OSRS Wiki / Weird Gloop. We fetch it at most every 5 minutes per Cloudflare data centre, with a descriptive User-Agent, as their guidelines ask.
Hiscores: skill levels are read from the official Old School RuneScape Hiscores, which are public.
Quests, diaries and Combat Achievements: these are not in the Hiscores and are not public. Where a player has opted in by installing the RuneProfile plugin, we read them from RuneProfile's documented public API and show them as Synced — never as verified by Jagex. We deliberately do not use the OSRS Wiki's WikiSync API, which carries the same data: the wiki asks third-party developers not to build on it. Everything remains tickable by hand.
Item icons: served from our own edge cache and fetched from the OSRS Wiki once per file, rather than hotlinked from every page view. Wiki images are licensed CC BY-NC-SA 3.0.
Quests and diaries: quest requirements, prerequisite quests, quest points and achievement diary requirements are imported from the OSRS Wiki and used under CC BY-NC-SA 3.0. FlaxPicker is non-commercial.
Methods: every method in FlaxPicker — its inputs, outputs, rates and requirements — is independently authored from game mechanics. We do not copy wiki tables or guides. Each method page links to the corresponding OSRS Wiki page for the how-to; wiki content is licensed CC BY-NC-SA 3.0.
